The challenge:

Complex structures in procurement prevent a systematic consolidation of requirements on selected vendors

The solution:

simple system makes indirect procurement completely transparent

“With simple system we can use our improved price conditions throughout Europe and promote consolidation in the MRO area.”

“We were looking for a market platform that we didn’t have to worry about hosting. Since the 4 shareholders of simple system are also our vendors, we also looked at this platform. In November 2015 we started with simple system. Currently 15 vendors from Germany and 3 from Hungary are used. The “reporting” function enables us to better compare vendors. In this way, orders can be bundled with fewer vendors. Capacities such as budget and time can now be better utilized.

We particularly like the following about simple system:

+ The comprehensive search

+ The restriction of vendors and product groups for individual users or user groups

+ The quick connection and updates of catalogs

More than 600 users are currently using the platform from our internal systems, and individual access has already been introduced in some cases. Thanks to the comprehensive search and the simple connection of catalogs, our operational purchasing spends less time purchasing C-parts. The use of the platform ensures a much better organization in our purchasing department. Our employees are relieved when purchasing C-parts and can use their time more effectively. We are very satisfied with simple system and have already mentioned the platform positively in discussions with other companies. “
