A job in a digital environment.

Culture & Values — Everyone is equal, you talk to the intern just as respectfully as you do to the management. And that's also the other way around.

I'm a hamburger by choice and love it here — so I wanted to stay here.
simple system gave me this opportunity.

A company with an appropriate reputation.

A job in which I work closely with the customer and can build something long-term.

How did your application process go?
Super fast and professional. I already noticed from the process that S2 was set up digitally.

Why did you choose this job?
On the one hand because I have become “big” in B2B e-procurement and on the other hand because S2 revenue via FTE has meant stability for me.

What challenges does your job entail?
Digitalization is still not sufficiently present in many companies. Especially in medium-sized companies, new software solutions are often seen as a “waste of money” — and that is exactly where my work and challenge start. To ensure that enthusiasm for digitization is achieved not only emotionally but also on a rational level.
What makes your team stand out?
We're incredibly diverse. Everyone has their own way of interacting with customers. The fundamental trust in every team member is unique to me.

Why does your employer suit you?
We're fast and dynamic. Ideas are welcome. Things that are implemented come from the entire team. I felt this team spirit from minute 1 — and that's exactly why I feel right at home.

A job that adapts flexibly to my needs.

Good communication within the team and beyond is essential. At simple system, communication is respectful and solution-oriented. I really appreciate that.

Work-life balance is very important to me. I want to make a difference at work, but I also want to have time to move.

Rock-solid 25 years of company history, with a strong mother in the background, that convinced me.

The varied work. Both to be able to help customers on a daily basis and to actively shape new things.

How did your application process go?
The process was fast, authentic and streamlined. Everything was straightforward and straightforward.

Why did you choose this job?
I was impressed by the team dynamics. I also find the product and the area very interesting.

What challenges does your job entail?
It is important to find new solutions to new problems every day. This is challenging, but it also keeps it exciting.
What does your typical working day look like?
In the morning, I check my emails and support tickets first. I then look at the calendar and roughly plan what's coming up for the day. I'm most looking forward to the demo dates, where I'll show potential new customers our platform.

What makes your team stand out?
We have good communication and a great atmosphere. That makes a lot easier.

Why does your employer suit you?
I am given the opportunity to grow and develop. At the same time, working together is great fun.

How did your application process go?
The application process was honest, direct and quick. Both sides had the opportunity to get to know each other and I was able to experience what was in store for me.

Why did you choose this job?
What I particularly like about simple system is that they have a start-up mentality and use a very modern structure in the area of data processing.

What challenges does your job entail?
In my current job, I see a continuous challenge in constantly acquiring new skills and knowledge. As technology and requirements in our industry are constantly evolving, staying up to date is critical. This constant learning curve requires time and commitment as I need to make sure I'm aware of current trends and best practices.
What makes your team stand out?
Every colleague is incredibly fit and motivated. The collegial relationship within the team creates a pleasant working atmosphere in which respectful interaction with one another is a top priority. I am also impressed by the international composition of the team, which gives plenty of opportunities to speak English.

simple system has set itself ambitious goals and these motivate me. The opportunity to grow together with your employer and to continuously train yourself is particularly appealing to me. How did your application process go?
The application process was extremely efficient and professional. The discussions were always on equal footing and there was plenty of room for getting to know each other. The rapid execution of the entire process was particularly impressive — less than four weeks passed from initial contact to the contract offer.

Why did you choose this job?
When I saw the job description for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised as it matched my profile almost perfectly. But what particularly impressed me was the consistently positive gut feeling I had after the technical discussions. The team dynamics, the “maker mentality”, the short decision-making processes, the flat hierarchy and the direct impact that my work has on the platform have made the decision easy for me.

What challenges does your job entail?
The procurement and e-commerce sector is new territory for me, which is both a curse and a blessing: On the one hand, as a “newcomer to the industry”, I can look at solutions and critically question them with an open mind and with a fresh eye. On the other hand, I must first acquire industry-specific conditions such as processes, mental models, user groups and technical jargon.
As a result, my learning curve is particularly steep in the first few months. In addition, my tasks are extremely complex and my day-to-day work is remarkably dynamic. We are working on numerous concepts in parallel and the implementation of development projects is impressively fast. My biggest challenge right now is finding a balance between healthy pragmatism and sustainable scalable solutions.

What makes your team stand out?
A good interpersonal atmosphere and mutual respect characterize the working environment. Communication is clear and transparent.

Why does your employer suit you?
My employer is a good fit for me because it supports my professional and career goals. I appreciate the corporate culture and the values that are cultivated here, such as teamwork, and the opportunity for professional development. These aspects are in line with my own career ideas.
